由水电部水利管理司委托南京水利水文自动化研究所和湖南省酒埠江水电站联合研制的水库防洪自动化系统,经过安装调试后的三个多月考核,运行情况良好,已于1987年12月9~12日通过鉴定。该系统采取自报式与应答兼容体制,功耗低,实时性强,整个系统结构做到标准化、模块化、通用化,维护方便,操作简单,可靠性高,防雷性能强,是南京所继西枝江、于桥、碧流河、黄浦江等水文自动化测报系统研制成功后的又一重要的水库自动化测报系统。
