The design of this teaching and creative center embodies the designer’s awareness of the building as a reflection of the surrounding constraints. The project features the academic atmosphere and atmosphere of the Department of Environmental Design. Located on the corner of Montréal’s commercial center, the structure is compact and irregular, with large studio and executive offices on the top divided by long, deep slits where the sun shines
