所谓语境就是指语言的环境,“语境”这个概念最早由波兰的人类语言学家马林诺夫斯基提出,语言环境是语言的基础,和语言是密不可分的,脱离环境的语言是毫无意义的。同一个单词或短句在不同的语境中具有不同的意义,因此,初中英语教师在进行词汇教学的过程中,要结合相应的语境进行,本文将进一步论述语境在词汇教学中的应用。
