本文以水的内生起源论的观点,概要地介绍了地球上水的起源和水圈的形成问题。地球上水的内生起源论认为,原始地球软流层排气作用是使包括有水汽在内的巨量易挥发性物质由地球软流层排升到地表的根本途径,也是规模宏大的原始海洋形成的基本物源。继原始海洋出现之后,大约在距今30~35亿年,由于地球上生命物质的出现、氮—氧大气圈的形成以及地壳开始分成相对稳定的槽、台区,导致了地球上局部地出现了淡水,并开始出现了巨大规模的水循环运动。从此,陆地地下水便作为天然水的一个循环运动阶段而出现了。
