陶行知热爱祖国,积极投身中国革命和教育事业,为中华民族的教育事业贡献了毕生的精力。他是我国“五四”以后最有影响的、著名的进步教育家之一。他大力倡导普及教育、全面教育、创造教育、终身教育,并不断探索中国现代化教育的发展道路。他以“人民第一”“教育为公”为自己的教育信条,忠实履行“捧着一颗心来,不带半根草去”的人生准则。2005年10月18日,正值我国伟大的人民教育家陶行知先生诞辰114周年。在此,重温陶行知先生的教育思想,缅怀这位伟大的人民教育家应该给每个读者带来启发。
Tao Xingzhi loves the motherland and actively devoted himself to the cause of revolution and education in China, contributing his life energy to the education of the Chinese nation. He is one of the most influential and famous progressive educators in China since the May 4th Movement. He advocated popularizing education, comprehensive education, creating education, lifelong education and continuously probed into the development path of China’s modernization education. He regards “people first” and “education as the public” as his education creed, faithfully fulfilling the life criterion of “holding one heart and not going halfway grass”. On October 18, 2005, it coincided with the 114th anniversary of the birth of our great educator Tao Xingzhi.
