新疆的民俗雕塑一直处于边缘化的状态,也有一些优秀经得起时代考验和历史推敲的作品,但是少之又少,大多流于草率。没有像新疆油画那样大放异彩。新疆是丝绸之路中西方文化的交汇点,祖国的西部边陲。新疆有着奇异的民俗题材、具有异域风情,传统的民俗资源丰富多彩。具有雕塑创作得天独厚的自然条件,作为新疆的雕塑工作者我认为我们当下的任务是要振兴新疆的民俗雕塑,创造出辉煌的成就。 Folk custom sculptures in Xinjiang have always been marginalized. There are also some excellent works that have stood the test of time and scrutinized history. However, they are few and far between. There is no shine like Xinjiang oil painting. Xinjiang is the meeting point of the Silk Road between Chinese and Western cultures, and the western border of the motherland. Xinjiang has a bizarre folklore theme, with exotic customs, rich and colorful traditional folklore resources. With the unique natural conditions of sculpture creation, as a Xinjiang sculpture worker, I think our immediate task is to rejuvenate Xinjiang’s folk sculpture and create brilliant achievements.
