内蒙古版画艺术自诞生以来以表现蒙古族特征,发扬蒙古族文化著称,有着辉煌的过去,但随着文化的交融,中国艺术的整合、多元化美术格局的形成下,内蒙古蒙古族题材版画对其自身的民族特性表现越来越淡化,面临着视觉语言相对陈旧、艺术观念更新缓慢、创作队伍日渐萎缩等发展问题。研究内蒙古学院蒙古族题材版画的发展状态与形式语言特性,为促进蒙古族题材版画的发展与创新提供借鉴,只有延续其独特的民族特性、丰富其语言形式,才不会在多元化的艺术浪潮中迷失其民族性;本课题从蒙古族艺术特征和传承渊源等方面进行考察,研究内蒙古版画在民族化进程中所形成的独特的艺术语言特色,对当代学院版画在蒙古族题材版画形式语言传承方面进行归纳和总结并对学院版画在蒙古族题材版画发展的方面提出建议。
