本实验测定了三例对照及五例β地中海贫血患者的珠蛋白链合成速率比对照组的α和非α链的合成处于平衡状态。一例β~0地贫纯合子无β链的合成,γ/α值为0.34,其他四例患者的β/α值为0.39—0.70,β链的合成速率明显减慢,并证实β地贫患者的红细胞内有一个较大的游离α链池。本文对珠蛋白链合成速率测定中常出现的放射前峰进行了其生成机制的初步探讨,认为前峰可能系珠蛋白链的衍生物及白细胞合成的非珠蛋白所构成。
This experiment determined that the rate of synthesis of globin chains in three controls and five patients with beta-thalassemia is in equilibrium with the synthesis of alpha and non-alpha chains in the control group.
