Anshan Iron and Steel Group Design Institute was founded in 1955. Its predecessor was Angang Design Office. It is an investigation and design research unit affiliated with Anshan Iron and Steel Group. It has engineering survey, surveying and mapping, metallurgical engineering design, architectural engineering design, municipal thermal engineering design, Environmental protection (exhaust gas) engineering design, engineering consulting, engineering cost consulting, project general contracting and many other Class A qualifications, and have pressure vessels, urban planning, fire protection, chemical, post and telecommunications, etc.
