1 加入WTO后我国医药产业面临的挑战与对策 医药产业具有重大的社会效益和经济效益。我国有13亿人口,迄今仍有许多严重威胁人民生命健康的疾病缺乏有效的防治药物。针对这些重要疾病,不断研究和创制新的优良药物,是我国人口健康领域的紧迫需求。不仅如此,医药工业又是一项高新技术密集的产业,它的发展将带来极为巨大的经济效益。随着全世界的经济发展和社会进步,人类对保健、治病的要求越来越高,医药产业将会有更大的发展,前景十分广阔。可以预见,我国现代医药产业在整个国民经济中所占的比重将会有很大的提高,现代医药产业将成为我国21世纪的支柱产业和新的经济增长点之一。
1 China’s Pharmaceutical Industry After Entering WTO Challenges and Countermeasures The pharmaceutical industry has great social and economic benefits. There are 1.3 billion people in our country. To date, there are still many diseases that seriously threaten the life and health of the people. There is a lack of effective prevention and treatment medicines. In response to these important diseases, continuous research and creation of new good medicines are pressing needs in the area of population health. Not only that, but also the pharmaceutical industry is a high-tech industry. Its development will bring tremendous economic benefits. With the economic development and social progress in the world, human beings have higher and higher requirements on health care and medical treatment. The pharmaceutical industry will have greater development and a vast future. It can be predicted that the proportion of China’s modern pharmaceutical industry in the entire national economy will be greatly increased. The modern pharmaceutical industry will become one of the pillar industries and a new economic growth point in China in the 21st century.
