Li Zhengdao, a Nobel Prize winner for physics, goes out of his way to introduce science into art. Since 1987, Li has worked together with fourteen Chinese masters of painting on artworks that feature science. His groundbreaking contribution to the development of art in China has blossomed. At the end of May 2001, Art and Science, an international exhibition, was held in Beijing’s China Art Gallery to showcase the best results in the field of science and art.
