凡遇国庆大典,阅兵式总是我们典礼中声势最大的一项活动。在这项极其隆重的军事仪式中,尽显一个军队的军威、一个国家的国威和一个民族的浩然正气。新中国成立以来的十三次国庆阅兵,印下了我军发展壮大和共和国成长的每一足迹。中华人民共和国成立时,根据全国政协决定,把阅兵式列为国庆大典的一项重要内容。从1949年开国大典到2003年建国54周年,共举行了13次国庆阅兵。1949年到1959年建国10周年,共举行了11次国庆阅兵。此后,连续24年没有举行国庆阅兵。直到1984年根据邓小平的提议,中央决定恢复阅兵,并于1984年国庆35周年举行国庆阅兵式。1999年,党中央决定,在天安门广场举行盛大的世纪阅兵式,庆祝祖国50年华诞。新中国成立以来最重要的国庆阅兵式共有三次:第一次是开国大典阅兵式,第二次是国庆35周年阅兵式,第三次则是国庆50周年阅兵式。从1949年开国大典时缴获来的“万国牌”武器装备,到1984年35周年国庆时战略导弹的横空出世,再到1999年50周年大庆时的钢铁之师、高科技之师,凸显我军建设正由数量规模型向质量效能型转变,由人力密集型向科技密集型转变。

Thirteen times of the National Day military parade since the founding of new China have printed every trail of the growth and development of our armed forces and the growth of the Republic. When the People’s Republic of China was founded, according to the decision of the CPPCC National Committee, the parade was listed as an important part of the National Day ceremony. From 1949 founding ceremony to the 54th anniversary of the founding of China in 2003, a total of 13 National Day military parades were held. From 1949 to 1959, the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, held 11 National Day military parades. Since then, the National Day parade was not held for 24 consecutive years. Until 1984, according to Deng Xiaoping’s proposal, the Central Committee decided to resume the parade and held the National Day military parade on the 35th anniversary of the National Day in 1984. In 1999, the party Central Committee decided to hold a grand parade in the Tiananmen Square to celebrate the 50th birthday of the motherland.
