由著名美籍华裔诗人叶维廉教授用英语编译的《防空洞里的抒情诗:中国现代诗 1930-1950》(Lyrics from Shelters:Modern chi-nese Poetry 1930-1950)已于1992年10月由纽约加兰出版公司印行,入选诗人18家,包括冯至、卞之琳、袁可嘉,另有艾青、戴望舒、臧克家、何其芳和其他九叶诗人等。卷首有导论三章,分别论述这一时期的国际文化交流背景、诗歌语言的变化及历史关连。第三章《中国诗中的现代主义》(香港作家梁秉钧撰写),详细地阐明了冯至和卞之琳的贡献,并辟有专节论述了袁可嘉《论新诗现代化》一书的重要
Lyrics from Shelters: Modern chi-nese Poetry (1930-1950), compiled in English by Prof. Yip Wai-lim, a well-known American Chinese poet, was released in October 1992 by New York Garland The printing company of the publishing house was selected by 18 poets, including Feng Zhi, Bian Zhilin and Yuan Kejia, and Ai Qing, Dai Wangshu, Zang Kejia, He Qifang and other nine-leaf poets. There are introductory chapters on the three chapters, respectively, on this period of international cultural exchange background, poetry language changes and historical relevance. Chapter Three, “Modernism in Chinese Poetry” (written by Hong Kong writer Leong Bing Kwan) elaborates the contribution of Feng Zhi and Bian Zhilin and provides a section devoted to the importance of Yuan Kejia’s book On the Modernization of Modern Poetry
