凡探访塞外蔚州风光名胜者,大多会涉足古道奇峡飞狐峪。而穿过飞狐峪山谷,就是以山梁为骨、大地为体的具有典型北国山野特征的马蹄梁。马蹄梁位于河北省张家口市蔚县正南20公里,是一条至北向南的山梁,两边沟壑纵横,中间是一条公路,因留有马蹄印而得名。站在马蹄梁极目远望,山岭、森林、原野、村庄浑然一体,山峦起伏,盆地部分是平缓的草场。
