松毛虫是我国发生面积最大的害虫，给我国的森林资源和生态环境带来严重的后果。 1998年以来，在财政部的支持下，国家林业局在辽宁省西部地区开展了松毛虫持续控灾工程试点项目。在工程区广大干部群众的努力下，现已完成各项建设任务，日前通过了国家林业局造林司和计资司组织的验收。现将该项目的主要做法介绍给大家。
