开设思想品德课的目的,就是为了培养学生自小具有良好的思想品德。它的着眼点是人,是成长着的年轻一代。因此,思想品德课的“针对性”,首先必须正确地对待人——针对学生的实际进行有效的教学。学生由于年龄不同,知识程度不同,生活经历不同,各人的实际当然有所不同。这就是特殊性。但他们必然会有共同的东西,这就具有普遍性。在教学中,我们既要抓普遍性,又要抓特殊性。从普遍性着眼,从特殊性下手,这也就具有针对性。儿童、少年都具有憧憬性。憧憬性是人们勇往向上的积极因素。儿童、少年总是向往美好事物,向往美好未来,崇拜英雄人物的。讲好这些美好的事物,美好的远景和英雄人物,他们会觉得行为有个规范,有个准则,有个榜样,就能产生一股强大动力,
