自“双向开放”写入“十三五”规划纲要以来,陆海统筹、东西双向开放成为我国新的战略重点,未来,西部地区将逐渐由开放的后方转变成为开放的前沿。西部地区实施基于内陆型经济区的开放路径,首先要从内陆地区特征出发建设和发展交通运输体系,发展航空运输业能够削弱西部地区地理位置的桎梏,航空服务业与航空运输业发展相辅相成同时能够带动相关产业协同发展,进而实现区域经济的发展,因此要高度重视西部地区航空运输及相关航空服务业的发展。本文以宁夏为例,浅析西部地区航空运输及相关航空服务业的发展路径。
