结合朱家尖西南涂围垦规划,通过对所处滩涂及其附近海域进行地质地貌调查,水深地形测量、表层沉积物采样与分析,利用历史图件资料综合对比分析等研究手段,结果表明:海域沉积物以粉砂物质为主,沉积环境可划分为E-Ⅱ、E-Ⅲ、D-Ⅲ三个区;受区域落潮流优势流、波浪以及水道内纵轴横向环流等动力条件及人类活动的共同影响,2006~2012年区内潮滩近岸侧冲刷,冲刷幅度130cm·a~(-1);远岸侧淤积,平均淤积幅度90~100cm·a~(-1);区内淤积量大于冲刷量;自2012年以来,区内呈微弱淤积趋势,断面平均净淤积量小于10cm·a~(-1)。
