欧内斯特·米勒·海明威(Ernest Miller Hemingway,1899年7月21日—1961年7月2日),美国小说家、记者。他生于芝加哥郊区的奥克帕克村。第一次世界大战爆发后,海明威加入美国红十字会战场服务队,投身意大利战场。后长期担任驻欧记者,并以记者身份参加第二次世界大战和西班牙内战。他的早期长篇小说《太阳照常升起》(1927)《永别了,武器》(1927)成为表现美国“迷惘的一代”的代表作品。凭借作品《老人与海》,海明威在1953年、1954年分别获得普利策奖和诺贝尔文学奖。他作品中蕴含的思想性和“冰山”式的叙事风格,予人以深刻的印象。
Ernest Miller Hemingway (July 21, 1899 - July 2, 1961), American novelist and reporter. He was born in the Oak Park village on the outskirts of Chicago. After the outbreak of World War I, Hemingway joined the American Red Cross battlefield service team and joined the Italian battlefield. After serving as a journalist in Europe for a long time, he participated in the Second World War and the Spanish Civil War as a journalist. His early novel “The Sun Also Rises” (1927) “Farewell to Arms” (1927) becomes the representative of the United States “a lost generation”. With his work “The Old Man and the Sea,” Hemingway won the Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1953 and 1954, respectively. His works contain the ideological and “iceberg ” type of narrative style, to make a deep impression.
