古代文论巨著《文心雕龙》为主“依经解骚”。尽管刘勰内心激赏屈骚的巨大艺术成就 ,但由于遵循“原道”、“宗经”的宗旨 ,他无法对楚辞的思想价值、审美价值、屈原的行为价值、人格魅力乃至楚辞文化的整体价值 ,作出公允的评判 ;刘勰以“雅颂”的准绳 ,试图清理屈骚中“异乎经典”的“荒诞”成份和“楚文化”因子 ,而这恰是楚辞最具光彩的东西。结果由“辨骚”滑向了“废骚”边缘。刘勰的尴尬并非孤立现象 ,传统中国楚辞学历两千年而缺乏创意、成果单薄 ,愧对高耸入云的楚辞文化 ,盖在于历代学者都囿于正统儒学价值观而管窥楚辞的缘故
