This issue of “Works and Criticism” published an article entitled “Misplaced Beauty and Goodness” in Xia Zhongnan and Gao Haibin. This article analyzes the contradiction between the moral and aesthetic pursuit of TV series “Soldiers Secret” and the negative influence on the characterization and plot narration of the works. It also discusses the relationship between “the moral expression degree and the drama aesthetic value” relationship.
