Once upon a time, Turin was an industrial city, where people ran to large factories where they were working in a steady flow of traffic. For some time after World War II, Turin attracted many poor people from southern Italy to work at Fiat. For the family, they are eager to find a job, buy a house and make more money. At that time, Turin was full of spacious roads and long, tree-lined boulevards. Today, Turin has always been considered the Italian automobile industry center, but the city has also shown the thirst for innovation. A variety of nightclubs suddenly appear in every corner of the city, which has never before seen. All this stemmed from the start of some major public facilities: first, the reconstruction of various industrial zones, followed by the improvement of underground transport systems. Turin is now constantly preparing for the 2006 winter olympics
