宜优673是福建省农科院水稻研究所用宜香1A与福恢673配组育成的籼型三系杂交稻新品种。2006年通过福建省品种审定、2009年国家和广东省品种审定、2010年通过云南省品种审定。2013年被农业部列为主导品种。江西修水县2010年引进在山口镇中桃村六组作中稻再生稻试种1hm2,2011年种植3.33hm2,2012~2013年在太阳升镇农科所村种植3.33hm2,连续4年高产田块两季产量超过15 000kg/hm2,具有很好的推广应用前景。
