一、课题研究的目的社会生活的信息化和经济的全球化,使英语的重要性日益突出。英语作为最重要的信息载体之一,已成为人类生活各个领域中使用最广泛的语言。改革开放以来,我国的英语教育规模不断扩大,教育教学取得了显著的成就。然而,英语教育的现状尚不能适应我国经济建设和社会发展的需要,因此, 《英语课程标准》中明确指出,基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好的须体现个人、社会、自然的内在联系。体现科学、艺术、道德的内在整合。2.实践性原则。“研究性学习”课程以活动为主要形式,强调学生的亲身经历,要求学生积极参与到各项活动中去,在“做”“观察”“探究”“创作”等一系列的活动中发现和解决问题,体验和感受生活,发展实践能力和创新能力。3.开放性原则。“研究性学习”课程要面向学生的整个生活世界,它随着学生生活的变化而变化,其课程内容具有开放性。学生在活动过程中所产生的丰富多彩的学习体验和个性化的创造性表现具有多样性,其评价标准具有多元性,因而它的活动过程与结果均具有开放性。
