福建西南部的淋积型氧化锰矿,分布面积达200km~2,主要集中于三个成矿构造带上.基岩为南靖群-林地组砂砾岩,黄龙组-栖霞组灰岩等,覆盖层为第四系亚粘土、碎屑层和红(黄)土层.矿体产于亚粘土层中,矿石有硬锰矿、花斑状硬锰矿、软锰矿及锰土矿等,矿石品位高、质量好,具有重要的工业价值. 为提高激电法寻找氧化锰矿的效果,我校与省冶金地质二队曾共同研究了矿区矿石的电性特征,测量了一千余块标本和一百余块人工标本的极化率η和电阻率ρ等参数.物性测定结果显示了氧化锰矿的电性规律,在普查找矿中起了一定
