党的纪律是党的各级组织和全体党员必须遵守的行为准则。它是无产阶级革命意志、高度组织性和权威性的体现。我们党从成立的第一天起,就要求党员必须严格遵守党的纪律。《中国共产党章程》明确规定:“党组织必须严格执行和维护党的纪律,共产党员必须自觉接受党的纪律的约束。”入党誓词中也有“严守党的纪律”的内容。能不能严格遵守和自觉维护党的纪律,是衡量党员有没有党性觉悟的重要标志。在改革开放和发展社会主义市场经济的新的历史时期,每个党员都必须不断地加强纪律性,自觉地维护党的纪律。
