“压力和压强”、“液体的压强”和“大气的压强”都是初中物理第一册第五章中的重点知识,可是涉及到有两种液体或既有液体又有气体时,求压强、密度或液柱的高度等问题时,学生们往往不知从何下手。我们可以运用设想压强平衡面来解决这类问题。压强平衡面是一个假想的平面,它具有几何上“面”的特点,即没有厚度(或厚度趋近于零)。它可以是一种液体和另一种液体的交界面,也可以是液体和气体的交界面,还可以是一种液体里面我们特地选用的一个面,压强平衡面具有以下特征:在它的两边,压强相等,受力面积相等,当然,两边的压力也相等。运用“压强平衡面”给我们分析问题和解决问题带来方便。
