在西方教育心理学中,较为流行的教学理论是建构主义理论。建构主义理论为指导和建构新的大学英语教学方法提供了建设性的思想,其中,创设激趣、协作探究、分析拓展、展示评价是建构主义大学英语教学设计的四个非常重要环节,通过这四个环节的学习,不仅可以使大学英语课堂教学的质量得到很大提升,而且能够培养学生的自主学习能力、提高英语综合运用能力。
