In this paper, six indicators of physical development and the ratio of upper arm circumference / head circumference (MAC / HC) were measured for gestational age children born in 100 Han and Uygur nationality in each birth 24h to understand the newborn growth of Han and Uighur Development status. The results showed that there was no difference in body weight, height and top-hip length between Han and Uighur newborns (p> 0.05). There was a difference between bust, upper arm circumference and head circumference (P <0; 05). Compared with the reference standard of 6 indicators of physical development of neonates of different gestational age in cities of our country, the indexes of neonates of Han and Uygur were all different (P <0.05). The MAC / HC ratios of Han boys and girls were respectively greater than that of Uyghur boys and girls (P <0.05). The ratio of female infant to female infant among Han and Uyghur boys was higher than that of male boys, which is close to the result of Sasanow [1].
