As if overnight, the city around us has been occupied by numerous scaffolding. In the bustle of the city and the hustle and bustle of the real estate, the urban landscape of China was refreshed again and again, and the real estate industry was rapidly ripening under the worries, pains and censures. With more and more competition and fewer and fewer lands available for operation, it is hard for real-estate enterprises with typical regional characteristics to look at the “three-acre” in their hands. As a result, “west into”, “north”, “going to the mountains to the countryside”, “march to the second-tier cities” has now become the realistic choice of many ambitious, unwilling developers. The marketization of land transfer, the openness and fairness of policies, and the clean-up of the last non-marketed territory in the real estate industry provide the possibility for such off-site development and national layout. Looking at China earth, where will it be the fertile ground for China’s real estate industry in the next two to three years? Where is the room for expanding real estate tycoons? Where is it expected to get the most lucrative return on investment? As a city perspective Looking at the national magazine of real estate development, we have united the three representative domestic real estate consultancy companies - Zhongyuan, Albert Consulting, and LING Jun to plan and find the city (or city) with the most potential for appreciation and investment in China’s urban territory )space. We are particularly grateful to the select executives of the three agencies. In more than a month, they surveyed a large amount of data, repeatedly considered, deliberated, launched their own very convincing list. Our comprehensive ranking of “Top Ten Potential Areas of Urban Development in China 2004” is being shaped on the basis of them. This is only one of us?
