OK432 (Lelvain) is a bacterin made from a Su strain of Leptolysococcus suis treated with penicillin and freeze-dried. It is commonly used in cancer immunotherapy in Japan. OK432 (Lelvain) exerts its therapeutic effect mainly through immune enhancement. The therapeutic effect of OK432 is mediated by immune cells and cytokines. Activated neutrophils activated by OK432 can kill IFN-γ or TNF-α-treated cancer cells. OK432 (force (Erfan) induced neutrophil killing of autologous tumor cells through the reaction between CD11b/CD18 and ICAM-1. OK432 (Lelvain) induced monocytes kill autologous tumor cells, OK432 (Lelvain) The main mechanism of inhibition of tumor growth.
