我县现有普通中学、职业中学128所,在校学生达47477人。1984年以前,除县管的4所完中有简陋的实验室和不成套的实验设备外,其余各中学均无条件开设实验课。理、化、生教学由于缺少必要的仪器,学生没有亲自动手做实验的机会,教师感到难教,学生感到难学,教学质量提高缓慢。为彻底扭转这种局面,我们学习铜陵的经验,自1984年开始筹建到目前为止,已在12个区建成13个实验中心和15个综合实验室,并相继投入使用,初步实现了全县农村初中实验小心建设网络化。我们的主要做法是:
There are 128 regular middle schools and vocational middle schools in my county, with 47,477 students. Before 1984, except for the four prefectural administrations which had simple laboratories and unsuitable laboratory equipment, all other secondary schools had unconditionally set up experimental courses. Because of the lack of necessary equipment, students in science, chemistry, and health education do not have the opportunity to do experiments with their own hands. Teachers feel difficult to teach, students feel difficult to learn, and teaching quality increases slowly. In order to completely reverse this situation, we learned the experience of Tongling and started to build it since 1984. So far, 13 experimental centers and 15 comprehensive laboratories have been established in 12 districts, and they have been put into use one after another.
