十七大报道是 CCTV-英语频道2007年新闻报道重中之重。英语频道认真学习贯彻中宣部对外宣传报道计划,从创造“团结、开放、民主、奋进”的氛围大方针出发,明确报道目标,为树立党的良好国际形象,以制作有说服力和针对性的让西方观众可以接受、增进对中国了解的新闻节目为己任。对外报道不能简单的歌功颂德。外国观众最想了解的是中国共产党在十七大之前做了什么,现在正在做什么,他们在考虑什么,要解决什么问题。他们最关心的是十七大对今后中国的发展会有什么影
The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China reported the top priority of the 2007 news report on CCTV-English Channel. English Channel Seriously Study and Implement the Propaganda Department’s Plan of Publicity and Outreach, Create a Good Atmosphere for the Unity, Openness, Democracy, and Endeavors, Define the Report’s Objectives, Establish a Good International Image of the Party and Create a Persuasive, Targeted to Western audiences to accept, to promote China’s understanding of news programs as their responsibility. Foreign reports can not simply sing praises. What foreign audiences most want to know is what the CPC did before the 17th CPC National Congress, what it is now doing, what they are considering and what problems to solve. What they are most concerned about is what the 17th National Congress will have on the development of China in the future
