随着北京奥运会精彩赛事的一天天上演,浙江省衢州市衢江区双桥乡沙潭村残疾人吴荣树的心也一天比一天激动。能够上北京看奥运会,虽然知道遥不可及,但多年来,他的心中一直有一个奥运梦。吴荣树今年56岁,是一名肢体残疾人。2008年5月14日,衢江区双桥乡举行第25届农民运动会,我们在比赛现场再次发现了这个熟悉的身影。与往年每届都参赛一样、这已是他第25次参加乡农运会象棋比赛了。这个自上世纪80年代便开始的运动会,主角全是当地土生土长的农民,村民们自豪地称是自己小山村的奥林匹克运动会。
With the wonderful Olympic Games in Beijing, staged day by day, the heart of Wu Rongshu, a disabled person in Sha Tan Village, Shuangqiao Township, Qujiang District, is thrilled day by day. Although he is able to go to Beijing to see the Olympic Games and know it is out of reach, he has always had an Olympic dream in his mind over the years. Wu Rongshu, 56, is a physically handicapped. On May 14, 2008, Shuangqiao Township, Qujiang District, held the 25th Peasant Games, and we again found this familiar figure at the competition site. This is the 25th time he participated in the National Games of the Peasant Games, as in all previous years. The Games, which began in the 1980s, are all native American peasants proudly known as the Olympic Games in their own small mountain village.
