Chinese movie market has been in an unprecedented period of rapid development. For the second consecutive year, the film box office in mainland China surpassed Japan last year, becoming the second-largest movie screening market after the United States. The number of screens in Chinese cinema has been increasing rapidly. However, the homogeneity of cinema construction behind the blowout growth has become increasingly serious. The uneven viewing environment is more and more difficult to meet the needs of audiences at different levels. In response, in recent years, the appearance of home theater audio-visual room has mushroomed into a new period of development. More than 70% of the home theater systems in the Chinese market are independent audiovisual rooms. In the overseas home theater market, people in Europe and North America are more inclined to enjoy the living room cinema mode, especially in Japan. The proportion of living room cinemas far exceeds that of independent audio-visual room.
