大学公外英语教学要求教师在有限的教学时间内最大限度地培养学生的英语综合能力。在英语教学中不能只单纯注意语言教学,而必须加强语言的文化导入,重视语言文化差异对语言教学的影响。在课堂上应尝试使用文化渗透与英语词汇教学相结合的方法,比较中西文化差异,使学生真正地领会词汇的涵义,运用所学到的词汇进行交际,以便了解西方文化。
College English teaching requires teachers to maximize the students’ English proficiency within the limited teaching time. In English teaching, we can not just pay attention to language teaching, but we must strengthen the cultural introduction of language and emphasize the influence of language and culture differences on language teaching. In the classroom, we should try to use a combination of cultural infiltration and English vocabulary teaching to compare Chinese and Western cultural differences so that students can really understand the meaning of words and use the learned words to understand Western culture.
