国家海洋局第一海洋研究所顾问任美锷教授在参加于西德举行的第三次国际海洋地球科学会议后应该所邀请来青作学术报告,受到与会者欢迎.首先,任教授作了“海洋地球科学发展动态”的报告,介绍了今后十年海洋地球科学的主要问题和发展方向以及当今世界海洋地球科学的最新动向.当前,海洋地球科学的研究可概括为四个重要方面.(一)关于海洋大地构造的研究:日本Uyeda教授,通过活动海洋边缘的研究,强调了活动边缘的多样性,从而提出“比较俯冲学”的概念,并建议使用地球物理仪器,对沟-弧-盆完整系统进行定量研究,以获得其俯冲变形数量和俯冲速率.此外,对边缘高原和微大陆也提出海洋大地构造的新概念.
Prof. Ren Meilian, consultant of the First Institute of Oceanography of the State Oceanic Administration, was invited by academics to attend the Third International Conference on Marine Geosciences held in West Germany and was welcomed by participants. First of all, Professor Ren made a speech entitled “ Scientific Progress ”, introducing the major problems and development directions of marine geosciences in the next ten years and the latest trends in the marine geosciences in the world today. At present, the study of marine geosciences can be summed up in four important aspects. Research on the Structure of the Oceanic Earth: Professor Uyeda of Japan, through the study of active oceanic margins, emphasizes the diversity of the margins of activities and puts forward the concept of “comparative subduction” and proposes the use of geophysical instruments to study the complete system of furrow-arc-basin Quantitative studies were conducted to obtain the amount of subduction and subduction rates, as well as new concepts of marine geotectonics for the marginal plateau and micro-continent.
