Zhejiang Province is a coastal province in thesoutheast China. It occupies 101 800 km2 and has apopulation of 45.0122 million. It governs 11 citiesunder which there are 89 counties (cities or dis-tricts). Zhejiang Province used to be major filariasisprevalent province in China and before liberation in1949 filariasis was the major verminosis that causeddisease and hence poverty.
