开展杂交育种,培养优质、速生、丰产的苗木,供应造林,是多、快、好、省地发展林业,尽快实现“绿化祖国”、“实行大地园林化”的有效途径。批林批孔运动以来,我们自力更生,因陋就简,大胆进行人工杂交育种,以培育适应本地抗旱、抗寒、耐盐碱的速生树种,今春我们进行了杨树、榆树的有性杂交和辐射育种。(1)辐射诱变:突变是细胞中发生的事实,产生了可遗传的变化,这种变化可引起一种新的表型,同时突变可以在所有生物中发生,是一切遗传的自然变异的基本来源,因此我们在育种上运用了突变的可能性,在省林科所的帮助下,用钴60进行辐射锈变,分别用杨树插穗、水杉
