利用经验正交函数分解法(EOF)研究了江苏省60个气象站1961~2012年历年极端最高气温时空变化特征,选用旋转主分量分析(REOF)和聚类检验分析(CAST)相结合的气候区划方法对江苏省极端最高气温进行客观分区,并分析了各分区极端最高气温的气候变化趋势和突变差异.结果表明,EOF分解的前3个模态基本代表了江苏省极端最高气温的主要空间结构,全省一致性异常分布是江苏省极端最高气温的最主要空间模态;江苏省极端最高气温可划分为沿江苏南地区、淮北地区和江淮地区三个区;近52年江苏省沿江苏南地区和江淮地区极端最高气温呈显著上升趋势,于1998年前后发生突变,极端最高气温转为显著升高;淮北地区极端最高气温自1967年发生突变后一直呈不显著下降趋势,近年开始呈微弱上升趋势.“,”Empirical orthogonal function (EOF) method was used to analyze the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of extreme maximum temperature (EMT) in the period of 1961 to 2012 in Jiangsu Province.Based on the climatic regionalization method consisting of rotating EOF (REOF) and cluster analysis statistic test (CAST),the EMT regionalization in Jiangsu was developed,and the analysis of the change tendency and mutation difference in different sub-regions were also conducted.The main results are shown as follows.The first three modes of EOF basically represent the major spatial characteristic of EMT in Jiangsu Province,and the consistent anomaly distribution around the whole province is the principal spatial mode of the EMT spatial characteristics.And then,the EMT in Jiangsu Province can be regionalized into three zones,namely,the Southern Jiangsu region,the Huaibei region and the Jianghuai region.In different subregions,the EMT change features are diverse.More specially,the EMT in the Southern Jiangsu and the Jianghuai region is of obvious increasing tendency,and mutated into significant increase around 1998.In the Huaibei region,the EMT performs indistinctive decreasing trend after sudden change in 1967,while it shows slightly increase in recent years.
