前言检验的对象是φ51×3.5毫米、X20Cr-MoWV121与12Cr3MoVSiTiB 和X20CrMo-WV121与15CrMoA 等异种钢管的对接电弧焊缝。使用的焊条牌号为69新1号。这些含合金元素较多的高强度钢管焊缝,当出现缺陷、如夹渣或根部未焊透时,常从这些小缺陷作为起点产生小的裂缝,特别是在断弧的熔池处。另外,如焊后热处理不当,则在热影响区也会产生氢扩散的冷裂缝。而所有这些裂缝,用X-线摄片方法是很难发现的。因此试验用超声波探伤。
