在我赴加拿大探亲的第二天,儿子担心我用老办法去对待他的儿子,就请我细心观察加拿大人怎样对待孩子。于是,我仔细体察了加拿大人如何对待孩子的事。我了解到,加拿大家庭乃至全社会皆以孩子为中心, 认为孩子是世界的未来、人类的希望,比什么都重要。他们视孩子为重中之重,一切为了孩子。我从未发现与我们住同一公寓的左邻右舍以及社区中的加拿大人打骂过孩子,也没看到加拿大人有“训”“吼”
On the second day I went to visit relatives in Canada, my son worried that I would treat his son in the same old way and asked me to carefully observe how Canadians treat their children. So, I looked carefully at how Canadians treat their children. I learned that the Canadian family and society as a whole are child-centered, thinking that children are the future of the world and that human hope is more important than anything else. They regard children as the most important, all for children. I have never found the neighbors living in the same apartment with us and the Canadians in the community who have beaten children. Nor have I seen Canadians “training” “roar”
