我敎的一班學生全是青年工人。大多數過去沒有受過系統的小學敎育,程度很不齊。一般的政治水平較高,有迫切的學習要求,對實際事物的理解力也較強,慣於心算;但不能正確地運用算式,缺乏推理能力。我在幾個月的算術敎學中,得到以下幾點經驗: (一)解除學生的思想顧慮,批判他們不正確的學習觀點; (1)初上課時,學生普遍存在一種顧慮:怕考試不及格被開除——送回工作崗位去,因而特別注意考試成績,平素演算習題時,便問考試時怎樣解答才能多得分數。我首先對這種思想進行了敎育。告訴他們,考試的目的主要是為了測驗學生對功課的理解程度,以便改進教學。作為一個學生,
