地物电磁波谱反射特性的测试和研究,是遥感技术的基础工作。多波段遥感仪器设计,选择波段,需要以地物波谱测定数据作为依据。遥感图象处理自动识别与自动分类指标的研究,也是在了解地物波谱特性的基础上进行的。测定、收集、处理各类沙漠、戈壁、沙生植物的反射光谱特征数据,解释不同沙漠地物波谱分异性、离散性的本质,进一步探求波谱特性在不同波段对遥感图象的影响,寻求数字相关关系,建立判读标志与识别模式,是沙漠遥感应用研究的重要课题之一。这些工作,都是以野外地物波谱测试数据的可靠性为前提的。所以,在分析使用数据之前,应对其精确程度进行初步估算,以便确定这些资料的使用范围
