当前,我国经济正在向形态更高级、分工更复杂、结构更合理的阶段演化,经济发展进入新常态。而品牌经济是以品牌为核心整合经济要素、带动经济发展的高级经济形态,是一个国家或地区综合实力和竞争力的重要体现。习近平同志强调,推动中国制造向中国创造转变、中国速度向中国质量转变、中国产品向中国品牌转变。为更好发挥品牌引领作用、推动供给结构和需求结构升级,国务院办公厅2016年6月10日发布了《国务院办公厅关于发挥品牌引领作用推动供需结构升级的意见》,标志着我国品牌发展进入一个崭新的历史阶段。
