语言和文化是紧密相连的。在英语教学中,教师所做的不仅是向学生传授英语知识,还要让学生了解讲英语国家的文化与中国文化的异同,增强学生的英语文化意识,培养他们的跨文化交际能力。这一点应引起英语教师的注意。
Language and culture are closely linked. In English teaching, teachers do not only teach students English knowledge, but also enable students to understand the similarities and differences between English-speaking countries’ culture and Chinese culture, enhance students’ awareness of English culture, and cultivate their intercultural communicative competence. This should attract the attention of English teachers.
