“一根扁担。两只谷筐”的地形越南位于中南半岛的东部,北与中国的广西、云南为邻,中越边界长1347公里;西和老挝、柬埔寨交界:东南临南中国海,西南濒暹罗湾,海岸线长达3260公里。越南地形狭长,呈S形。人们形容其地形为“一根扁担,两只谷筐”.即北起河静省、南到庆和省的长山山脉,以及素称“鱼米之乡”的面积近2万平方公里的北部红河三角洲平原和面积约5万平方公里的湄公河三角洲平原。越南国土面积32.9万多平方公里,人口8078万。
“One pole, two baskets,” the terrain Vietnam is located in the Indo-China Peninsula in the east, north and China’s Guangxi, Yunnan neighbor, the 1347 km long Sino-Vietnamese border; West and Laos, Cambodia at the junction: South East Linnan China Sea, southwest near Gulf of Siam, coastline up to 3260 km. Vietnam’s terrain is long and s-shaped. People describe the terrain as “a pole, two baskets.” Namely the Chang’an Mountains in the north from Hejing Province, the Changshan Mountains in the south to Qinghe Province, the northern Honghe Delta Plain covering an area of nearly 20,000 square kilometers and the plains of the Mekong Delta covering an area of about 50,000 square kilometers. Vietnam has a land area of over 329,000 square kilometers and a population of 80.78 million.
