土壤碳库对于全球气候变化的影响巨大,而自然条件或人类活动造成的土地退化是引起土壤碳固持变化的重要原因之一,为探讨不同类型土地退化对土壤碳固持的影响及其机制,本文综述了荒漠化、土壤侵蚀、土壤盐碱化、养分流失和土壤贫瘠化等不同类型土地退化对于土壤碳固持的作用及其影响机制,指出各种类型的土地退化会在不同程度上增加土壤向大气中释放CO~2的速率,使得土壤碳源功能增加,碳汇功能减弱。但土地退化对于土壤碳储量的影响过程是可能逆转的,未来应加强不同类型土地退化过程中土壤碳固持动态变化和深层土壤碳库的研究,以期为进一步开展土地退化中土壤碳循环的效应研究和增强土壤的碳汇功能。
