2001年8月16日,应上海高新技术开发交流中心之邀,我在“上海入世与上海高新技术发展研讨会”上,就“中国产业经济评估”这个题目作了发言,与会代表颇多呼应。现在所以要把本文投到《公关世界》上来,目的只有一个,从事了若干年的企划、咨询之后,个中人都会意识到这一点,那就是企划的成功与否关键在于对行业走势的把握、判断和预测。这个“发言”只是一个“纲要”或者说是一个入题的“线索”,颇想与包括公关策划在内的同行们共同切磋。我总有一个感觉,入世之后,中国的经济市场大整合的阶段已经到了,做企划就不能不研究你的客户在这个大整合之中所处的位置。事实表明,中国企业游兵散勇、单打独斗的时期即将结束——不是你去整合别人,就是别人整合你。我相信中国的皮尔庞特·摩根之类的人物正在诞生。 中国企划界的摩根什么时候出现谁也说不上,但是等待企划界摩根们去咨询、服务、策划的市场却是空前宏大。

I always have a feeling that after China’s accession to the WTO, the stage for the great integration of China’s economic market has arrived. Planning can not but study your clients’ position in this grand integration. The facts show that the period when Chinese enterprises march into arms and go it alone is coming to an end - it is not for you to integrate with others or integrate others with you. I believe people like Pierpont Morgan in China are born. When the Chinese planning community, Morgan appeared no one at all, but waiting for the planning community Morgan to consult, service, planning market is unprecedented.
