Since 1968, Nagai et al. First introduced the use of 131I-19-iodinated cholesterol as adrenal imaging agent, which has been routinely used as an effective tracer in the diagnosis of adrenal diseases. However, the synthesis steps and labeling methods for such a developer are complicated.
